A double bill of revisionist Westerns that share a sympathetic focus on Native American protagonists is screening at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles on 16 March 2017.

Navajo Joe a

Sergio Corbucci’s classic Spaghetti Western Navajo Joe (Italy/Spain, 1966), which stars Burt Reynolds, Aldo Sambrell, Fernando Rey and Nicoletta Machiavelli – as well as featuring a stunning soundtrack score by the great Ennio Morricone – screens at 7:30 pm.

Chato's Land

Michael Winner’s striking Euro-Western Chato’s Land (UK/USA/Spain, 1972), which stars Charles Bronson, Jack Palance and Ralph Waite, screens at 9:35 pm.
